ENTRY: The CookiesKids.com "Laptop Giveaway" Sweepstakes (the "Promotion") begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time (ET) on 06/05/09 and ends at 11:59 AM ET on 9/30/09 (the "Promotion Period"). To enter, visit www.CookiesKids.com, follow the online prompts to the Promotion page, complete all required information in the online entry form, and submit. Limit: one (1) entry per person, regardless of means of entry.
ELIGIBILITY: To enter this sweepstakes you must be a legal resident of the 50 United States of America or the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older. Employees of CookiesKids.com, their agents, their agents' employees, their advertising and promotion agencies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and any individual or company directly associated with this sweepstakes, and the immediate families of these employees (parents, children, siblings, spouse) as well as members of the respective households of these employees (whether related or not) are ineligible to participate.
PRIZE: There will be four (4) Grand Prizes awarded throughout the Promotion Period of one Laptop per month for four persons from CookiesKids.com. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of each Grand Prize is $500. Total ARV of all prizes to be awarded is $2,000.
Odds of winning a prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: One winner will be selected per month, from among all eligible entries received, in a random drawing to be held on or around the first week following each month in which entries are accepted during the Promotion Period. Winners will be selected by the senior management of Cookieskids.com whose decisions will be considered final in regard to all matters related to this sweepstakes, for a total of one (4) drawings. Winners will be notified by telephone and/or the email address provided, or other form of home delivery. Winners will be required to provide shipping information as requested by Sponsor within seven (7) days of initial notification. Failure to comply within the specified period may result in a forfeit of the prize claim and a new winner may be selected.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: No transfer, substitution or cash value equivalent for Grand Prizes are available, except at sole discretion of Sponsor. All federal, state and other taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner's entry and acceptance of the prize offered constitutes permission (where allowable) for the Sponsor to use said winner's name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state) on a worldwide basis and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation.
SWEEPSTAKES CONDITIONS: Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Sponsor is not responsible for online entries that are not received due to Internet traffic, virus or other technical/transmission problems. Should the Internet portion of the sweepstakes need to be terminated, due to technical difficulties, winners will be selected from all other eligible entries received prior to the termination. By participating, winners and entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Sweepstakes Administrator and waive any right to claim ambiguity in regard to the sweepstakes mechanics and implementation, or interpretation of these Official Rules. Winners and entrants also agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, its agencies, and their respective officers and employees, from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize offered, or participation in this sweepstakes. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the sweepstakes will be declared ineligible and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
